Hello Ikkyu Bento,

My mother and I just had our first bentos from your place the other day and would like to tell you how wonderful it was enjoying what you made!

It was one surprise after another from the moment we opened the case. Everything was in order very nicely placed, tonkatsu and everything tasted just so good, and we definitely did not expect to be able to enjoy the taste of wasabi here in San Miguel. We had thought that they would be Japanese food with some Mexican twist, which would have been fun to try as well, but we were wrong. They were from the beginning to the end perfectly Japanese. What you make is amazing!

I had a bento lunch yesterday, it was the real thing..delicious and well presented like a little bit of Japan in San miguel and the chef who also delivers is charming, on time and cute. Try it, it is business well worth supporting and keeping. here!

We ordered bento boxes today and they were great. I definitely recommend trying them. My husband and I loved them and the kids gobbled them up. Very reasonable pricing as well. We´re going to be regular customers.

A Rave Review for IKKYU BENTO BOXES

My sweet life in San Miguel just got even sweeter - and cushier. Coming
from Manhattan, the lack of meals I could have delivered to my door was a
problem. Tortitlan is surprisingly good, but it gets tired quickly. An hour ago, I
had a work of Japanese art graciously delivered to my gate. The presentation
alone was worth the price, but the taste and texture of each dish turned out
to be absolutely perfect. There was great variety, a marinated mushroom
compote, perfect sticky rice that had been molded into lovely shapes, a beef
salad, egg tomago (I think that's the name of that sweet egg sushi) and the main
dishes, chicken terriaki for me, and a ginger beef for my husband. Both main
dishes were moist, delicious and plentiful. I am not a food critique, just a
food lover, and I am in love. And, by the way, the price is extremely
reasonable, only 65 pesos including the delivery.

Those bento boxes that everyone is talking about are FANTASTIC! What a treat it is to taste wasabi again and delicious fresh sushi.
